Repurposed Lamp Shade!

Hey there friends!  What a beautiful weekend!  Hope everyone else enjoyed as lovely weather as we have had here.  It was my birthday weekend, and I couldn't have asked for better weather.  YAY.  What did I do for my birthday weekend you ask?  I whipped up 14 pillow covers for a daybed project I have in the works.  It was more enjoyable than it sounds... REALLY.

Onto the repurposed lamp shade.  It's sort of an obvious repurposed project.  You know those old lamp shades that are put together like stained glass.  They make pretty bowls for a potted plant.

An obvious repurposed idea... right?!
Anyway, thought it was pretty, so I shared. : )
Hope you're having a FANTABULOUS weekend!

  4. I actually had an old ceiling light glass cover in my hand yesterday a the thrift store and I put it back once I realized what it was. I hate that once I realize the original purpose of something my creativity disappears. I really like this idea!
